Still amazing! We used to go here all the time, but haven't been for a while (for no good reason, we just tend to go more in winter and fall). We sat at the bar and bartender/server was Sara. She was personable, fun and knowledgeable. We had cocktails and the tuna tartare (which has always been our favorite) and still is. No one comes close to anything like this appetizer in the area. Beautiful ambiance and wonderful service, unique dishes as always. We will be back soon. Cheers!

We visited your wonderful location, Mission Oak Grill in Newburyport last Tuesday for the 1st time and wanted to let you know what an amazing time we had from the moment we sat down, that we decided to return with friends this past Saturday, sadly, our experience was not the same. Last week upon arrival the hostess asked where we might prefer to sit, a booth, table or hightop, we chose a hightop. We were greeted by our server, Linda, with the biggest smile and uplifting attitude and excitement when she found out it was our first time, she was very informative. If you enjoy brussel sprouts,she said, do yourself a favor and please get ours, they really are nothing like you have had before! So we did and she was spot on. We loved them. In addition after telling us you are known for your steaks, my husband ordered a filet and I had the blackened salmon. We also ordered one of your finer wines she suggested which matched perfectly with both. We could see she got busy, but made the time to check in with us. The filet was cooked to perfection and the salmons infused flavors were outstanding. We were so delighted with everything and excited we found you on Green Street . We mentioned we would be back and will ask for her . Saturday evening was disappointing. I take into consideration it was a Saturday , however, we had such a memorable experience earlier in the week, we wanted to show you off to our friends and didn't think it would take such a turn. The server was kind , but clearly stressed out and monopolized the conversations by speaking over us and way too much. Our food was good but we waited a very long time for just even our appetizers, the square meal, as I had seen it pass by was good but not great. Its not about the cost, but each item on the plate was about the size of a quarter, barely enough for 2 people, nevermind 4, to spread on a small triangle piece of bread that we had to ask to get more of. Maybe charge more to give more. We also ordered the brussel sprouts again, they were good, but they looked different and tasted alittle different. He took an incorrect entree order, but we said nothing as we had waited so long for the entree's (47 minutes to be exact) we just wanted to finish and leave without even dessert. We will be back , as we know nothing is perfect. Hoping we get Linda again as she made our night so very pleasant. Thank you for your time. Pam Rosengard

Amazing service as usual, Sara!!! Drink made to perfection and always fabulously engaging!!!

The bottomless brunch was delicious! There was a large group of us and we tried most of the dishes. They were all good but the meatball was probably my favorite. The table bread and potatoes were a hit with the kids. The Bloody Maries and mimosas were a hit with the adults. Dan Dwyer did a great job taking care of the group. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic food! Both the steaks were cooked perfectly, we got in and we were seated really quickly and our waitress was so helpful and attentive! The one thing that was underwhelming was the Mac'n Cheese. We heard about it from a few people and it was a bit of a letdown, but our steaks made up for it. The atmosphere is cozy dark bar scene and I saw the upstairs had a beautiful room for parties or events!
